The Vineyard

Fashion designer Christian Audigier was born and raised in Avignon, about 75 miles west of Montpeyroux and in the heart of Rhone wine country.

Christian Audigier wines are produced in the vineyards of the Montpeyroux Estates, using grapes grown by the Roquefeuil family, who have been growing wine here since the 16th century.

The wines showcase the significant natural charms of Montpeyroux viticulture. The historic Languedoc – Roussillon region has been an important winemaking centre for as long as anyone can remember, with grapevines said to have existed in the south of France for thousands of years. The Mediterranean climate and plentiful land, with soil ranging from rocky sand to thick clay, makes it ideal for the production of quality wine.
